What do you need to participate?

1. A quiet, street-legal, dual sport motorcycle.
2. Motorcycle operators licence and insurance for the machine that you will be riding.
3. A GPS receiver capable of holding 20 routes of 30 waypoints, or better! A handlebar mounting system for your GPS receiver.
4. A patch cord to allow easy uploading of the route to your GPS receiver. (we have patch cords available for most popular makes but bring yours along just in case.)
5. External power source for your GPS receiver. ( its not a must, it sure beats having to change batteries in the middle of a ride)
6. A compass ( we will provide you with a map of the route in case your GPS fails)
7. Proper dress for whatever mother nature may send your way.
8. Spare tubes, patch kit and the tools to allow you to do minor repairs.
9 Cell phone. (we may not always be riding within cell coverage)
10. Sense of adventure
11. C.M.A. Membership???
Events put on by or hosted by, "Promoters", rather than clubs, organizations or groups, do not require that participants be CMA members. Rally Connex is a "Promoter' and therefore events organized or hosted by them do not require that participants be CMA members. However, Rally Connex strongly suggests, that all participants be, members of Canada's oldest and most established motorcyclist organization. Furthermore, many other events which may be organized by clubs, organizations or groups, will require CMA memberships and these memberships are valid for one full year from date of purchase. The $26.00 cost of such a membership seems a token fee in the entire scheme of things.
