Yes, that’s right the second running of the RAP for 2009
Four days of riding start in Minden and proceed around Algonquin Park. Each day ends at a different motel. The proven route (downloaded in it’s entirety to your GPS prior to the start) is well timed allowing you to have time each night to relax, have a beverage and chat about your ride with the other participants. Due to the size of the ride and the planned accommodations, registration is limited. Support riders are riding within the groups. Support truck will carry all of our heavy gear during each day. Motels each night included. The ride is best for bikes up to 700cc, but it can be done on 950/990s with sharp tires and an experienced pilot.

About Algonquin Park Tour
Algonquin Park is 7600 square kilometres (3000 square miles)
of forests and wetlands located in the transition zone between the
evergreen forests of the north and the maple forests of southern
Canada. Algonquin is classic "Canadian Shield" country
- some of the oldest rocks on the North American content. The Algonquin
highlands are a huge block of 1.5 billion year old rock. The Canadian
Shield comes to the surface in a huge circle around Hudson Bay.
However, the Shield rocks extend west to the Rockies, south-east
to the Appalachians and as far south as Texas; however, they have
been buried under deposited sediment around the Great Lakes and
in the Great Plains area. The area just outside the park is full
of unexplored forest access roads, logging and pioneer settlement
roads. Your tour will take you and your motorcyle around the park
visiting the historic Nipissing Road and traversing the Haliburton and Madawaska
Highlands.

What You Need:
Adventure type motorcycle in good mechanical condition
Valid motorcycle license and insurance
Current and up to date health insurance
Aggressive D.O.T. tires and heavy duty tubes are mandatory
Skill Level : experienced riders of any type!

Basic motorcycle tool kit, mandatory
Camera, lots of film.
Hydration system recommended, bottled water supplied!
