Dacre “The Longest Day” Rally Announces Retirement After 25 Years
After more than a quarter-century of adventure, challenge, and community, the organizers of the Dacre “The Longest Day” Rally announce that the event has officially been retired.
This decision comes after extensive consideration and heartfelt discussion. Due to declining attendance and rising operational costs, continuing the event is no longer sustainable. The choice was not made lightly, and it brings great sadness to share this news with the rally community.
For over 25 years, the Dacre “The Longest Day” Rally has brought together riders, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who helped create one of the most unique and enduring off-road endurance events in the region. The organizers extend their deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to this incredible legacy.
“We want to thank all those who have stood with us—from the competitors who pushed their limits, to the volunteers who dedicated countless hours, to the sponsors who believed in the spirit of the rally. Your commitment and passion made this event possible,” the organizers said.
Though this chapter comes to an end, the memories, camaraderie, and achievements built over the past 25 years will remain a proud part of the rally’s history.
Thank you for an unforgettable journey.
